    New Sufferer Thyroid disease

    Please can some one advise why I feel worse now Im taking the tablets than before I was diagnoised!!! Was diagnoised less than a week ago!

    Hi @sarah2237 what are your test results and do you have underactive or overactive thyroid?

    It takes time for your head and body to get usd to the meds.
    Also dosage is an issue.
    Expand on your experience and maybe theres something obvious to pursue?

    Thank you Im a 41 year old female that has been diagnoised with an under active thyroid after months maybe years of feeling rubbish! 17 days ago I was put on 50mcg for levothyroid. I seem to have a couple of normal days when I can function and then the next day Im completely wiped out, feeling dizzy and absolutley no engery. Also appear to be able to function on about 5 hrs sleep for a few days in a row then wham sleep for England Is this right!! I couldnt consider work at the Mo!
