    confused

    i have just had my test results back which are
    TSH level is 6.2 mIU/L
    FT4 level is 17 pmo1/L
    im on 200 mcg of thyroxine daily and still have symptoms namely very tired and body tremors when im very tired is this normal and should i be having a different medication
    its all very confusing please help

    @vickie your FT4 seems alright though TSH is very high. This could be due to low FT3. Did you get your FT3 checked as FT3 is the active hormone which is readily available for body to carry out daily functions.

    No I have never had an ft3 test as far as I know is it something that is checked as standard everytime they check your thyroid function or do I have to ask x
