    Weight Loss

Hi I my name is Sophie and I have had an under-active Thyroid for 2 years. I am currently on 125gm a day and my blood test came back last week as 0.2, I have managed to lose weight previously but since the last 2 weeks I have started gaining weight (eating exactly the same as before) do you think I need to increase or decrease my dose?

Hi Sophie @bubble TSH of 0.2 is quite good to be honest. You dont have to increase or decrease your thyroxine dose if your TSH is 0.2

Your weight gain be due to other factors. Have you had FT3 and FT4 checked to see if those numbers are also within range as TSH only is only one indicator of underactive thyroid.

I think You must do the morning walk daily half an hour. Remove all the food from your diet which contain the rich fats. Avoid to eat spicy food. Just eat home made food. Don’t eat deep fried food. I hope these tips are really helps you a lot.
