    Confused and exhausted =/

    For what it's worth, I guess it is nice to know that I'm not the only one! I had a total thyroidectomy in 2006 and have been slowly "sinking" since. I fired my endo because he refused to changed my medications in spite of how aweful I was looking and feeling. I was taking Synthroid from 2006 - 2009, switched doctors and my current PCP has had me on 50 mcg. of Cytomel daily. Clearly, that's not working for me...I feel like crap. My Gynocologist had this lab workup done last Friday. Ummm, where is the T3 Specimen?? Took the results to my PCP and he ordered another workup to include the T3, I should have the results tomorrow. Below is the results taken from the July 15th lab work. What do you think? I have a hard time understanding the results since I've been told so many different things over the past 5 years.

    Free T4 = 0.4
    TSH = 0.09

    Thank you for any suggestions/advise on this issue.

    What the range for FT4 as TSH seems be quite normal.

    Mind you if you are taking T3 then your TSH is gonna come very low. Now that's a separate issue if your adrenals are any good to use that T3.

    Thank you for the reply.

    It has been determined that my medication is too high at this time. Not sure what has caused the change since labs have been normal for quite some time. Adding a very low dose of Synthroid and lowering the Cytomel to 25 mcg. daily. Starting low, retesting in 6 weeks and easing back in to the correct dose...again.
