    Reluctantly Admitting Improvement

    Hello all!

I used the topic title "Reluctantly Admitting Improvement" because I hesitantly announce that I am seeing a longer lasting improvement in my day-to-day energy levels, mental state, mood, etc. Aside from having hurt my back lifting one piece of luggage, I have been doing very well. One big piece of evidence lies in the fact that while my wife is two states away in Georgia, I am busy moving everything that isn't heavy furniture to our new home (about 4 miles away). I'm doing this while working part-time and carrying for dogs and cats. Previously, any small task was a burden to me, draining me physically and emotionally. I am very happy that I'm functioning this well still on 50 mcg. of Levothyroxin. Thank God!

I'm going to get back to moving; I work this afternoon. Same tomorrow. I work 10 hours on Friday. This coming Saturday I will drive 3 1/2 hours to meet my step-daughter half-way in order to retrieve my wife. Then we'll finish our part of the moving on Sunday, after church, and let the movers finish it on Monday. Whew! Just the thought of this would have depressed me three months ago. Now I know I can manage it without losing it.

for your support here. It's wonderful to be able to tell others these things and KNOW that they UNDERSTAND what you're talking about!

50 mcg is low. Some docs keep you too low too long. You start to feel a bit better as your medicine increases. Good luck!
