    Re: i need help

Hello princess, and welcome to the forum.

Thats a bit of a poser really, its not so much what is the healthiest food as what you shouldnt take.
It is generally accepted that Brassicas and somilar foods are goitrogenic and should only be eaten in
small quantities and never raw - that is cabbage, broccoli , cauliflower etc, so no coleslaw or lightly
    stir fried veg

Soya is a no-no as it inhibits the absorption of throid hormones, and any milk should be taken at least an
hour after taking tyroid meds as the calcium inhibits absorption. Calcium supplements should be taken
four hours away from thyroid meds, as should any iron supplements.

There are several medications which interfere with thyroxine absorption, some antidepressants in
particular. Fluoride should also be avoided.

The best way to eat is plenty of fruit and veg and meat, everything as natural as possible, if its made
in a factory, leave it. If you can grow it yourself, well done.

I hope this is a bit of help to you, just read all you can about this condition both here and on the web.
there are many good and informative sites out there.
