It would take six weeks for the T4 in Armour to leave the body due to the long half life it has, the T3 would have departed long ago so you must be making your own, or converting.

    Are you on Levothyroxine?

I should think any time now you will be finding out what difference it makes, if it is going to, and if it
still doesnt. then maybe you were overmedicated. Dawn could perhaps give you an answer better than me.

With the backlog of Armour and Naturethroid (sp) my doctor is considering compounding pharmacies until everything settles down.

May I ask why you left Armour? If too personal I'll understand.

But if you are trying a T4 only med, I am interested on how you do. In case I need to go that route too...

Hi Pamela to the site. Its not personal, I felt like I had not made much if any improvment on armour, and wandered if coming off it would make much of a difference. That and the cost every month 30 I wouldnt seem to justify it.

If I go down hill in the next few weeks drastically, I will consider something either T3 or Armour, but so far, I feel Ok.

    for asking!!

No difference at all Ric? May be slightly better or worse? Nothing?

That's quite strange but I hope it works better for you this way as you wont have to buy all those Armour privately then.

So you are not going to be on anything then? What about your hypothyroidism?
