    Unhappy Pale appearance

I've noticed that my appearance is slightly pale now what it used to be. I've been trying to look for the right cause but couldnt find it.

Would anyone here know what causes pale appreance of the skin exactly? Could this is be due to poor blood circulation because of adrenals or what?

Seems like a never ending battle to me!

    Re: Pale appearance

It probably is connected with the state of your blood, Look inside your eyelids, is it pale? And inside
the mouth is that pale too? Regardless of these two factors, ask your GP for deficiency tests for B12, ferritin and folate as with thyroid problems you can be deficient in any of these.

B12 needs to be between 500 and 1000 ng/mL, ferritin over 100 for males (I think the actual figue is 120 but not awfully sure) and folate in the top half of its range. Dont let your GP fob you off with normal
if they are only just within range

    Re: Pale appearance

Ginny and leah. I think it could be due to low ferritin? My last two results showed 76 dropping to 46 and I didnt bother taking iron supplements as I thought it's still within range. Got to buy these boxes now.

I've been taking B supplements so quite sure it shoud be alright.

Back to gym as well so it's looking not that bad....just need to pump up my heart slightly more now

Hope you guys having good weekend.

You need to keep an eye on all the B's plus the ferritin , if you supplement one and not the others they get out of balance. The B's you can take permanently, but iron has to be a bit stop and start and check blood
levels - at least once a year if your GP is cooperative.

How's your vitamin D levels, thyroid can lower those unless you get lots of sun?
