Hope it goes well for you Ric, been wondering how you were doing. Will you be on

Hi Ginny, for now, I'm going to see how I get on with just Thyroxine, as I think I have been sending myself hyper!

Interesting Ric but keep an eye I'd say as body must be used to that armour thing and it will take it's time before it starts conveting T4 to T3.

    Re: I have ditched Armour

go for it. i have been experimenting for the last 1 1/2 yrs and think i may only have turned the corner recently.

all down to going onto T4 only meds. Apparently these do not stress the adrenals as much as natural meds because there is no T3 to "shock" the adrenals. i liken t3 to a cold shower in a way.

see how it goes. i am doing very well and i have had a few days down, but i have bounced right back. i can tell this is better for me than armour was.

it has been 3 weeks now and i think i will need a blood test next week. then i will see what the bloods say. i think 175mcgs could be my optimum dose, but i am waiting until i get the bloods.
