I've become very aware of energy Crashes lately!

I go from having lots of energy one day to having Zero energy the next!

I said how I had increased my daily routine to walking more, but the next day well not even the next day, the afternoon Im zonked, having zero energy and making everything seem impossible!

Today I noticed that on my night shift, I had walked for over 10,000 steps (average person should walk), and I was happy, I went to bed at 8am, today and woke up at 4pm, and I have never felt so lerthargic and fatigued! Simple things like ust getting out of bed to use the bathroom, seemed impossible until I had no choice lol! (get out of bed or, sleep in a wet tonight lol)

I checked my blood pressure last night, 135/63, the Diastolic is lower than my normal BP, temp was 36.4 Heart rate was 82 bpm sitting down

I'm not sure if I'm again coming down with something, or this is my bodies way of saying 'enough this is to much'

Anyways, I ve eaten a load of high carb/ high fat food from the fish and chip shop, and drank close to 2 litres of Pepsi, and Im feeling slightly more human after 5 hours resting on the Couch!

Hope your feeling better than me!!

Ric. only a few days ago you were saying you felt good

    definite-improvement-but-will-it-last-t404.html

are you just overdoing it and not pacing yourself ? You walked the 10,000 steps the average person should do, but you are a recovering thyroditis sufferer with the responsibilities of a beautiful baby, and you must be good to you and make haste s l o w l y.

    Frustrating, isn't it?

BP is not too bad but there is quite a big of different b/w Systolic and Diastolic readings. If one is right and other is down then overall BP is down and vice versa. I think your BP is high and not low as Optimum would be 120/70 and you have 136/63. Temperature is definitely low...not sure when it was taken, just one time reading or average of the day?

    Fish & Chips
    10, 0000 Steps
    2 Litres of Pepsi
    Night Time Shifts
    New Demanding Baby

No doubt you havent been feeling well.

    Hi Ric

I suspect that you feel this way because you are trying to do too much too soon. You must pace yourself.

You have been very ill for a very long time. Try to let your body rebuild at it's own pace. If you overdo it you will no doubt set yourself back as you will use up the reserves and then have nothing to fall back on. It can then take weeks to get back.

It can take a considerable time once you are on the mend to get back to normal.

    Regards

    David
