    adrenal results. any advice!!

    cortsol
    sample 1.. 3.2 ( ref 12-22) LOW
    2.. 7.4(5-9)
    3..3.3 (3-7)
    4.. 1 (1-3)

    total cortisone 14.9 (21-41) LOW
    DHEA.. sample2.. 1.15
    sample 3.. 0.98

    dhea/ cotisol ratio 7.5 HIGH

    it says " adrenal farigue, non adaptive response this generally indicates falling levels of cortisol and dhea from excessive stimulation/ secretion over olong periods of time.


    any advice??!!!

    You cortisol results are bad but not that bad

    Have a look here, apparently you are at stage 4 of adrenal fatigue.

    Your DHEA is within range though the cortisol/dhea range is high because your cortisol levels are so low.

    If you were taking any medicine that would have skewed your results. You better get some doctor and start medicating and baby sitting adrenals

    thanks guys my plan is to see dr peatfield in 2 weeks and speak to him on the phone this fri and read out my adrenal results to him.. i have a bottle of hydrocortisone and ill wait to see if dr p ants me to take it . also am waiting for armour to arrive but from dr ps book i know i need to sort out adrenals first.
    i came off my t4 a week ago and my heart palpitations have stopped thank god! still just as exhausted tho. im stil on my t3 tho. bluebell
